Frida
Synopsis
A young spoiled rich girl struggles to fit in the ghetto after her parents get locked up in jail leaving her homeless and penniless. A spoiled Frida finds herself homeless and abandoned, none of her relatives and so-called family friends want anything to do with her. The only person concerned enough to take her in is their former housemaid (Ma Kimuntu), the only challenge is that Ma Kimuntu lives in Dar’s biggest Ghetto, Tandale. Frida has no other choice but to accept the offer and start a new life in the ghetto. Frida toughens up and starts seeing the ghetto from another eye and begins to use her knowledge from her international relations course to work hand in hand with the community.
